Golf Course #9- Wildfire Golf Club

     Alrighty for these blogs I will be talking about the golf courses in the surrounding area of New Concord Ohio! So first off there are probably eight golf courses that I would say are within a reasonable distance of New Concord to make it easy enough to visit all of them. The idea behind my blogs will be to talk about each golf course and help anyone reading these get a better understanding of what each course brings to the table.

    Wildfire Golf Club is the golf course in the back yard on New Concord. Only a five to ten minute drive to this close golf course from New Concord.

    Wildfire Golf Club is a good golf course for beginners and casual golfers. This golf course is not very challenging besides a few holes and doesn't play very long. The amount of roll off of tee shots also plays into shortening a short course and just plays into the narrative that it is better for casual and beginner golfers.

    Being only a few minutes away from New Concord is what makes this course stand out. Having something that close is perfect for any casual golfer living in New Concord and makes for an interesting time.

    The course also benefits from being inexpensive for a small town golf course and always seems to be improving each year.

    The course itself starts off with an interesting set of holes. A par three followed up by two par fives is how golfers start their days. After that golfers will enjoy a well balanced four par threes, two par fives, and nine par fours over the remainder of the round. Not much trouble on this course besides out of bounds along the edge of holes.

    All in all a very solid course based on location and price, perfect for casual golfers and beginners.
