Golf Course #6- Zanesville Country Club

    Alrighty for these blogs I will be talking about the golf courses in the surrounding area of New Concord Ohio! So first off there are probably eight golf courses that I would say are within a reasonable distance of New Concord to make it easy enough to visit all of them. The idea behind my blogs will be to talk about each golf course and help anyone reading these get a better understanding of what each course brings to the table.

    Zanesville Country Club is a private course located about thirty minutes from New Concord. This course is the nicest course I have played on and I would highly recommend for every golfer to play here once in their life if able.

    This course is a challenge and a blessing all in one. The view no matter where you look here is magnificent and terrifying all in one. It's a golfers dream to see the low cut fairways and pristine greens, but also a terrifying sight to see the high rough and the surrounding out of bounds on nearly every hole. 

    When first arriving Zanesville Country Club welcomes golfer with a putting green and a chipping green for players to practice on and a range with a few different levels to hit from with flags at certain distances to aim at. 

    After enjoying the warm up areas that are always welcoming players will enjoy a front nine full of terrifying narrow tee shots and tough greens that can make things tough for any level of player. Not the best course for people of all levels, but having tees of four different distances makes it less of a stress for people.

    On the back nine there is more room to miss, but still difficult shots will be in full force coming down the stretch. Never is there an easy moment on this course which is what makes it a enjoyable experience for golfers and a must visit in the area. 

    The clubhouse has a very respectful feel to it and demands a certain standard. This place goes above and beyond in making the experience for golfers. as good as it can be. The clubhouse also ties into a restaurant with an outside eating area. Perfect after a long day of golf.

    Being a private golf country club sometimes getting to golf here is tough, but given the opportunity this is the best course in the area in my opinion.
